WordPress 4.7 Theme Compatibility Report

Today I published updates to nearly all of our WordPress themes, taking advantage of the new features WordPress 4.7 offers, both behind the scenes and in the forefront.

I can confirm that every ThemeBeans theme is 100% compatible with WordPress 4.7. There were a few small issues that I’ve resolved, though they were very small and unlikely to occur. I have also taken a bit of time to tidy some of the framework code within the older themes in the catalogue.

Also, if you’re using one of our WordPress themes that feature a built-in Custom CSS module, when you update to WordPress 4.7 you will find that your custom styles will be migrated to the new “Additional CSS” Customizer option. I’ve added it as a conditional, so that your styles will remain if you decide to stick with WordPress 4.6+ as well.

If you’re interested in reading a bit more on the new bits of WordPress 4.7, check out the WordPress 4.7 Field Guide.

As always, if you do run into anything, let me know. Enjoy!
